Cape May Vineyards

Cape May is well known for its stunning beach, Victorian architecture, and amazing food scene but is also a great destination for its wine tasting and vineyards! Our coastal location provides excellent soil for growing grapes which becomes excellent wine. Sample exceptional vintages and take a tour or two of our local wineries in Cape May.

Cape May Winery

Cape May Winery produces wonderful dry and off-dry whites, dry reds, and sweet wines. Stop in anytime for a tasting comprised of five wines and a souvenir glass.

Tours are offered every day and reservations are recommended. The hour-and-a-half tour includes a walkthrough of the vineyard and production facility, information on how they make their wines, a wine tasting accompanied by a fruit and cheese tray, and a souvenir glass.

During the summer, June – August, stop by for Grill Night on Wednesdays with a rotating menu of amazing barbecue and fresh summer dishes.

Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery

Hawk Haven Vineyard and Winery has an impressive lineup of white and red wines and hosts a variety of weekly and special events.

Open daily, the wine bar offers a great spot for wine tasting and learning more about the wines they produce. If you’re really interested in the wine-making process, try the vineyard and winery tour where you’ll taste the wines as your guide leads you around the vineyard. Tickets include your hour tour, wine tasting, cheese, and a souvenir glass.

During the summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, stop by for Sangria Sundays! Enjoy live music, wine tastings, or their custom-created sangria blends of red wine, peachy keen, summer berry, or frozen rosarita.

Jessie Creek Winery

Jessie Creek Winery brings the taste of Italy to New Jersey with grapes that are harvested and processed on-site. The winery produces merlot, coastal red blend, chardonnay, pinot grigio, and a delightful collection of fruit wines.

The winery is open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. For tastings, you can purchase a dry wine flight, an off-dry/fruit wine flight, or a full tasting of all their available wines.

Natali Vineyards

Natali Vineyards is comprised of seven acres with 5500 vines of French, Italian, and Spanish grapes. The vineyard produces award-winning wine spanning 30 labels.
The tasting room is open daily with varying hours during the seasons.

In September, the vineyard hosts a Harvest and Crush event where you can stomp grapes, listen to live jazz, and sample wines. Admission is free though stomping tickets are $10 and uses a lottery system to pick ticket holders for the stomping contest. In October, come in costume to the Wacky Witchy Wine Event and bob for apples or participate in the Halloween costume contest.

Turdo Vineyards and Winery

Turdo Vineyards & Winery is family-owned and operated by owner Sal, his wife Sara, and their son, Luca. They make a delightful array of award-winning wines, from sauvignon blanc to rosato to their signature wine, the rich and complex Nero D’Avola.

The winery operates in seasons and closes during harvest time. After Labor Day, they switch to their fall hours of Friday and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. During the summer, from late June to Labor Day, they’re open Monday through Thursday from noon to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., and closed on Sunday.

Willow Creek Winery

Willow Creek Winery operates on a 50-acre farm in Cape May and produces premium wines. Their wine list includes dry and semi-dry whites as well as semi-dry, dry, and semi-sweet red wines.

The winery is open daily for tours and tastings and offers a light menu of tapas to complement your wine tasting. Wine tastings start at $10 for five samples or you can do the tour and tasting combo for $25. The winery also hosts Fire Pit Fridays every Friday from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. where you gather around the fire pit for live music, wine or sangria, and food.

Willow Creek Winery is located at 160-168 Stevens St. and can be reached at 609-770-8782. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Tastings and Tours

Tastings & Tours offers winery, brewery, and distillery tours in Cape May on a 14-passenger bus. These tours are designed for groups of six or more but you can call 484-695-6465 or email info@tastingsandtours.com for availability and get your name added to a list.

Tours are $130 per person and include stops at three wineries and lunch from either 5 West Pub, Bella Vida Café, or Tisha’s Fine Dining. Everyone on the tour must be 21 years of age or older. Pick-up occurs between 10:30 and 11:45 a.m. with drop-off between 5 and 6 p.m.

Our front desk staff is happy to arrange taxi transportation to the wineries for you and your party if you wish to visit the wineries on your own time. Cape May’s wine industry is growing rapidly as is our craft brewing industry, so no matter what beverage you prefer you’re bound to find something new in Cape May.
