There are also ample gift shops in the mall, ensuring you’ll bring your loved ones a perfect souvenir home. If you happen to have a sweet tooth while shopping, you can also stop in at one of the many candy shops too.
Grabbing a Bite to Eat
Feeling hungry after your shopping spree? Washington Street Mall is home to great places to eat as well! It’s a great spot to sample the local seafood and the famous lobster roll. Louisa’s Café is one of our favorite spots for lunch and dinner, offering a farm-to-table experience with classic Cape May dishes.
Celebrating Cape May Art
Museums, art galleries, and even art cafes are nestled within the mall. Stop in at the Museum of Fine Arts and Popular Culture to explore the art ranging from modernism and surrealism, and even Victorian artifacts. The Art Block Café is a unique spot that offers opportunities to grab some coffee and put your artistic skills to work through their workshops.
Music in the Park
Come out to Rotary Park and enjoy free live music every Friday throughout the summer! Local singers, bands, and other types of groups perform. It’s a great way to unwind after a long day in Cape May.
Oktoberfest
Dive into German culture at Cape May’s Oktoberfest on September 24. Located right outside the mall, enjoy a day of authentic German music, food, and of course beer in the beer garden.
