A main attraction of visiting Cape May is enjoying a day or two at the amazing beach! The Emlen Physick Estate is a popular tourist attraction that hosts wonderful events and tours throughout the year. The Cape May Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) is responsible the plethora of historical tours and activities, many of which are family-friendly. Try the trolley tour, ghost tours, festivals, or family treasure hunt to join in on the fun.

Historic Cold Spring Village

Let the kids step back in time with a visit to the Historic Cold Spring Village. It’s an outdoor living history museum with more than 30 acres of farms and historical reenactments.

Kayaking

Kayaking is another fun way to explore the waterways and marshes of Cape May and many rentals outfit children or tours accommodate younger kayakers. Most outfitters will request that children under the age of ten ride a double with an adult.


Mini golf

Play a round of challenging golf right at Stockton Inns! Our famous mini golf course has sand traps, water hazards, and waterfalls as well as a great view of the ocean if the game isn’t going your way. Our course has been a great family activity since 1938!

Cape May Zoo

The Cape May Zoo is fun for everyone in the family and made even better with free admission (though donations are welcome). See more than 550 critters as well as the popular snow leopards at this county zoo. The zoo is open daily with the exclusion of Christmas.
