Exit Zero Jazz Festival
May 13 – 15, 2022
The Exit Zero Jazz Festival is probably one of the most popular Cape May spring events. In its 10th year, the festival has gained a reputation as one of the top festivals along the East Coast. The festival features international touring artists performing on two outdoor stages on the grounds of the Exit Zero Ferry Park, located at the Cape May Ferry Terminal. In addition to the two main stages, local Cape May bars and restaurants will host a variety of musical performances themselves.
Cape May Music Festival
May 1 – June 30, 2022
Rounding out spring and heading into summer, Cape May hosts the Cape May Music Festival for eight weeks featuring 15 musical performances of classical, chamber, jazz, brass band, and Americana music. Performances include sounds from the Bay Atlantic Symphony, the New York Chamber Ensemble, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players, the Atlantic Brass Band, and more. A variety of venues are featured as well including the Emlen Physick Estate Stage and Convention Hall. Tickets for each event are sold separately.
Spring Celebration Garden Tour
Saturdays, May 21 & June 25, 2022
What’s springtime in Cape May without visiting a few gardens? With the Spring Celebration Garden Tour, you can explore the private plants and blooms of some of Cape May’s most beautiful gardens. View both public and private gardens, while delighting your senses with what’s blooming and flourishing at different seashore locations.
The Emlen Physick Estate gardens are included on the tour, as well as The Nature Conservancy Garrett Family Preserve. The grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate will host nature and garden-themed local vendors as well as a complimentary wine tasting by Cape May Winery! The tour is self-guided and a list of properties on the tour will be provided.
Cape May Restaurant Week
June 5 – 12, 2022
Indulge your senses during Cape May’s restaurant week. Local area restaurants feature special menus at special prices all week long. Dine at your favorite Cape May restaurant or find a new favorite. This is the week to try them all! A list of participating restaurants can be found here.
