The annual Light Up Cape May event hosts local businesses and residences to compete for first, second, and third place in a variety of categories for the best holiday light display. 

The best way to see the winners is by taking a drive or a walk on your own or hopping on a trolley tour hosted by the Cape May MAC (Museum and Arts and Culture). Tours usually begin at the Emlen Physick Estate.

During the holiday season, the Emlen Physick Estate is a must to see and experience. One of the best ways to see Christmas lights in Cape May is with the Winter Wonderland Tour where visitors can walk the grounds and view the whimsical displays and lights. Plus, inside the Old-Fashioned Christmas exhibit that features a large Christmas tree, model trains, and a Dickens village collection. 

Washington Street Mall
