Not only are locally grown fruits and vegetables for sale at the farmers’ markets near Cape May, but other uniquely crafted items are for sale too. Here is a list of our favorite markets to visit while vacationing in Cape May!
Central Park Farm
The Central Park Farm has been providing visitors an opportunity to take home organic ingredients since 2014. What once started as a little market in a red barn has grown into a much bigger market with seasonal produce for sale and local seafood. Their current summer produce includes fresh strawberries, blueberries, and cherries, perfect for a snack on the beach! While most of their items are sourced from Cape May, other New Jersey vendors sell their wares as well. Their mission is to support all New Jersey farmers to help benefit the local economy!
Duckie’s Farm Market
Duckie’s Farm Market has not only provided Cape May residents and visitors with tasty fruits and vegetables but an array of other tasty treats for 25 years. They specialize also in fresh-made jellies, jams, dips, and even salsas. They have over 200 varieties of all to choose from! If you have sweet tooth after a seafood dinner, they also sell desserts and other baked goods. Plus, it’s strawberry season and they have plenty for you to take home!
Beach Plum Farm
From fresh produce and local products to house goods and gifts, Beach Plum Farm provides an excellent and modern farm-to-table experience. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available for purchase, and eggs courtesy from the chickens on their farm. They support local makers by selling their jams, pasta, and even wine too. They have two floors of rustic and unique home goods and gifts, perfect for a Cape May souvenir!
